It is also ranked by the Financial Times among the FT top-ranked pre-experience Master’s in Finance specialised in banking, quantitative finance or digital finance.

Studying at USI

During the master I developed strong analytical and quantitative skills through high mathematical and statistical courses. Nevertheless, companies’ evaluation has been the main topic of three of my better-resulting courses, in Accounting, Corporate Finance and Financial Statement Analysis, and these studies have proved to be fundamental. On the other hand, knowing the foundations of Financial Mathematics have been very useful when I was asked to prepare some basic models in Statistical Program, such as liquidity analysis or combination models. I have learned the fundamental elements, processes and instruments in credit business and the tools that financial analysts use to make investment decisions.

Where to find us

The lessons of the Master in Finance take place in presence in the West Campus of the Università della Svizzera italiana. The exact address is via Buffi 13, Lugano (Switzerland).

Parking is very limited in the area, so we recommend using public transportation.

You can reach the university from Lugano train station in 8 minutes by taking bus number 6 in the direction of Cornaredo and getting off at the "Università" stop (you can find the bus schedule here).
