I chose the USI's Master in Management and Informatics because I was keen on exploring IT and understanding how to integrate technology into business practices. Moreover, I wanted to surround myself with inspiring individuals. It turned out to be the wisest decision of my life because I could directly apply what I learned to my start-ups, including UX design and physical computing.

USI's campus in Lugano

The USI campus in Lugano is a modern and dynamic environment dedicated to higher education and research. Situated in the eastern part of Lugano, it offers innovative and functional architecture, modern classrooms, equipped laboratories, libraries, and green spaces. It is an ideal place for study and research, fostering collaboration and student well-being.

Where we are

The Faculty of Informatics is located in the East Campus of the Università della Svizzera italiana. The exact address is via La Santa 1, Lugano (Switzerland).

The Campus has a number of shared spaces, a multi-purpose hall, an exhibition space, a canteen, a crèche and sports areas. It hosts around 600 members of staff, 1,000 students on the basic programme and 800 students in continuing education.

You can reach the university from Lugano train station in 9 minutes by taking bus number 6 in the direction of Cornaredo and getting off at the "Campus Universitario" stop (you can find the bus schedule here).
